Eco-environmental furniture par excellence, this beautiful raw wood dining table is made of recycled wood. All wood used is reclaimed wood from doors and structural beams from old buildings. Therefore, a variation in structure and color is possible between each table. The wood may thus contain some small natural cracks or holes which are authentic and give a natural charm side. Large holes are repaired with patches of the same wood.

The wood has been stripped and brushed by hand to reveal the knots and beautiful veins of the essence of the old wood. The wood is therefore natural and raw and the top must be protected before first use with water-based impregnation oil, a 100% natural product. We provide you with a water-based impregnating oil that provides protection and hardly changes the original appearance.

We have taken every precaution to avoid damage to this item due to shrinkage or expansion of the wood. However, wood can expand or shrink due to changes in temperature and humidity. Controlling the humidity and temperature of the environment will minimize this effect.

Hand-woven rugs and carpets are more delicate than machine-made rugs and carpets. Please carefully follow the care instructions below:

- Regularly vacuuming your rug or carpet is important. Since the fibers are woven into a tight interlock, dirt, grit and debris tend to settle on the base of the mat. Be sure to use the vacuum attachment and not the beater brush, as this can damage the carpet pile and carpet fringe.

- In case of spillage, do not use any cleaning product. Use a clean cloth and water to instantly dab up the spill. Sponge up as much of the liquid as possible before it settles on the rug or carpet.

 - Rugs and animals don't mix. Animal urine can damage rugs and carpets. You end up with problems like odor, fading dyes. Use a combination of warm water and vinegar to fix the problem.

- Keep your carpet or rug out of direct sunlight and rotate it periodically to minimize wear.

- Have your rugs professionally cleaned from time to time to maintain their delicate structure. Dry cleaning is the best option for handwoven rugs.
