Description

Beautiful statue of Greek Dancer on metal base.
Hellenistic period between the death of Alexander the Great in 323 BC at the battle of Actium in 31 BC has generated many upheavals whose art is the reflection. Thus, in this expressive figure of a dancer, is substituted for the balance of perfect figures of the previous period, dynamic representations to the often unstable and almost contorted silhouettes.
The quality of treatment of wet drape reveals a delicate model and contributes significantly to the sensuality of the work.
A very beautiful handcrafted composite material allowing this statue to be positioned outside.
The patinas and the finishes of our statues being carried out entirely by hand, they can vary from one piece to another, this is not to be considered as a defect.
