Perfect reproduction of a head of Apollo exhibited in the entrance hall of the Gallery of Antiquities at the Metropolitan Museum in New York. The original dates from the 2nd century BC.
This one has been classified from the Hellenistic period: there is no need to praise the extreme elegance and perfection of this sculpture which remains an exemplary piece of Greek art of the time.
